With the advent of Internet and mobile technologies there has been an explosion of companies creating and distributing exciting content digitally through the use of streaming media technology. To meet the demand and represent the interests of this relatively new sector the association of streaming media companies (ASMeC) in the UK has been set up. ASMeC will represent companies that distribute digital content (audio & visual) that is not licensed by OFCOM. This emerging market has created new opportunities as well as raising concerns. It has become important to have an organisation that can represent and protect the sector's interests as well as communicate with business and other regulatory bodies on members behalf. If you are interested in learning more about the association or are interested in joining please do make Contact |
